22 June: IPSN training workshop held at International Marine Conservation Congress in Kuching, Malaysia. 

15 June: IPSN training workshop held at International Seagrass Biology Workshop in Singapore.

3 June: Website launch.

May and June 2018: Invitation letters sent out to potential network members. We also accept requests to join the network.

April and May 2018: Master student Lucy Coals conducted pilot study of three IPSN research protocols in Zanzibar, Tanzania.  Supervised by Lina Mtwana Nordlund, Stockholm University, Narriman Jiddawi University of Dar es Salaam.

March and April 2018: Master student Sofie Westerberg conducted a pilot study of one IPSN research protocol in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Supervised by Lina Mtwana Nordlund, Stockholm University, Narriman Jiddawi University of Dar es Salaam.

March and April 2018: Master Student Joseph Upstone conducted a pilot study of four IPSN research protocols in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Supervised by Lina Mtwana Nordlund and Johan Eklöf, Stockholm University, Narriman Jiddawi University of Dar es Salaam.

16-18 February 2018: IPSN coordination team workshop, held in Uppsala Sweden.

1-23 February 2018: Advertising for a PhD Student position in Marine Biology, where the student is encouraged to collaborate within IPSN. Posted on Stockholm University website.

30 January: IPSN meeting, coordinating group.
